The Children’s Library has now reopened. As well as making repairs following recent flood damage, the Library also took the opportunity to lay new carpet and enhance the existing layout to make it easier to explore and discover collections.

Young readers and their families returning to the space will find the shelves still brimming with their favourite Australian children’s books, and titles by overseas authors.

There is now also a dedicated sections for young adults and graphic novels, along with more room for future programs and group activities. Find the Children’s Library on Lower Ground 1 in the Marie Bashir Reading Room.

Check our opening hours to help plan your visit.
