Authors Kate and Jol Temple in green suits with book Frog Squad

Stage 2 and Stage 3.

Join Kate and Jol Temple as they investigate the importance of book baddies. Kate and Jol will talk about why baddies are so useful for building stories and discuss what makes a great villain. They will encourage kids to think about how villains can provide obstacles and challenges for characters in their own writing.

Don’t miss this fun and inclusive dive into Kate and Jol’s illustrated series Bin Chicken and the new series, Frog Squad.

About the authors:

Kate and Jol Temple are the internationally awarded authors of more than 26 books for children. They write picture books (including the smash-hit series Bin Chicken) as well as bestselling junior fiction. Their work is hilarious, playful, outrageous and full of heart. Kate and Jol live in Sydney. When they are not writing books, they love getting out to schools and festivals and talking to kids about the pleasure of reading and inspiring the next generation of young writers.
